A person is inadmissible for failing to comply with the Act. For a foreign national, this covers any act or omission that contravenes the Act (for example, overstaying or working without authorization). For a permanent resident, it means failing to comply with the residency obligation in s.28 or the conditions referred to in s.27(2).
