Texte juridique — Code criminel, art. 320.22
If an offender who is convicted of an offence under any of sections 320.14 to 320.17 has been previously convicted of such an offence, the court shall, before imposing a sentence, order an assessment of the offender by a substance abuse professional to determine whether the offender is dependent on alcohol or drugs.
