If a commercial transporter brought a foreign national to Canada and that person is ordered to leave, the transporter must carry that person out of Canada without delay. The destination depends on the reason for removal — it may be any country, or specifically the United States, depending on the circumstances.

(1)273 (1) Il incombe au transporteur commercial qui a amené ou fait amener un des étrangers ci-après au Canada de l’en faire sortir sans délai à destination :
(2)(2) Le transporteur est tenu de transporter l’étranger faisant l’objet d’une mesure de renvoi exécutoire, peu importe où ce dernier se trouve au Canada, jusqu’au véhicule qui servira à le faire sortir du Canada.
