If you enter Canada as a crew member of a ship or aircraft, you must leave Canada within 72 hours of no longer being part of that crew. If you entered Canada specifically to join a vessel as crew, you must join that vessel within the required period or you're in violation.

(1)184 (1) L’étranger qui entre au Canada en qualité de membre d’équipage doit quitter le Canada dans les soixante-douze heures après avoir perdu cette qualité.
