🍁 In Simple Terms

If you're allowed to enter Canada temporarily while your examination is not yet complete, you are bound by strict conditions: you must appear at the scheduled time and place for your examination, you cannot work, you cannot attend school, and you must report to a port of entry if you want to leave. Breaching these conditions can have serious consequences.

Legal Text — IRPR Regulation 43

(1)43 (1) An officer must impose the following conditions on every person authorized to enter Canada under section 23 of the Act:

(2)(2) A foreign national who is authorized to enter Canada under section 23 of the Act does not, by reason only of that authorization, become a temporary resident or a permanent resident.
