If you save a checklist or a score, it is written to your own browser storage and nowhere else. One page collects everything you have saved, and one button wipes it. That button clears an explicit list of this site’s own keys rather than everything in your browser, so nothing belonging to another site is touched.

Google Analytics 4 sets a cookie holding a random identifier so repeat visits are not double-counted in the traffic totals. That is the only cookie this site sets today. No advertising cookies, no retargeting pixels, no social trackers, and nothing that receives what you type into a tool.

Privacy Questions
Can ClearToEnter identify me from my tool usage?
No. Our free tools run entirely in your browser, no data reaches our servers. The Deep-Dive Library is written in advance and takes no personal input at all. We have no way to link any activity to an individual.
Do you share data with the Canadian government or IRCC?
No. We collect no personally identifiable data to share. ClearToEnter is an independent educational platform and has no relationship with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) or any government authority.
What happens to my answers when I use a tool?
They stay on your device. The free tools run in your browser, so nothing you type is sent to us. Nothing is logged, stored, or associated with any account, because no account exists. Google Analytics counts that the page was visited; it never receives what you typed into the tool.
What about the progress I save on the site?
It never leaves your device. Saved checklists, scores, and progress are written to your browser’s own storage. There is no server copy, because there is no account. The My ClearToEnter page lists everything saved on this device and clears all of it on request.
Is my IP address logged?
Standard server logs may include IP addresses as part of normal web infrastructure (e.g., CDN and hosting logs), but these are not retained in a way that ties them to your tool usage or personal identity. We do not use IP addresses for analytics or profiling.
Do you use third-party advertising or tracking pixels?
No. We use Google Analytics 4 for anonymous aggregate page view statistics only. There are no advertising pixels, retargeting scripts, social media tracking, or any other third-party data collectors on this site.
If I use a paid feature, does that create a record of me?
Stripe processes payments securely. Stripe retains payment records as required by financial regulations, but Stripe sees your payment info, not your immigration research. ClearToEnter receives confirmation that a payment was made; we never see or store your card details. No account is created on our side.
