Sometimes an officer cannot finish deciding at the counter. This lets them allow you physically into Canada so the examination or the admissibility hearing can be completed. Being let in this way is not the same as being admitted.

23 An officer may authorize a person to enter Canada for the purpose of further examination or an admissibility hearing under this Part.
