TEER 4 occupations do not qualify for FSW. With Canadian work experience, you may qualify for CEC. Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) may have streams for this occupation.
This occupation does not currently map to IRCC's category-based draw criteria.
Canadian employers can obtain an LMIA to hire a foreign worker for this occupation.
Many provinces have PNP streams that accept TEER 4 occupations. Alberta, BC, Ontario, and other provinces run occupation-specific draws.
Official Definition
Mail and parcel sorters and workers in related occupations process and sort mail and parcels in post offices, mail processing plants, warehouses and internal mail rooms. They are employed by Canada Post Corporation, courier and parcel express companies and establishments throughout the public and private sectors.
TEER 4 Explained
Occupations typically requiring on-the-job training provided by the employer. These include many retail, service, and administrative support roles. Not eligible for Express Entry FSW, but CEC may apply with Canadian experience.
Pathway note: Even though this NOC doesn't qualify for Express Entry FSW, you may still immigrate via: Canadian Experience Class (after 1 year of Canadian work), Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), or LMIA-based work permit with future PR pathway.
