Canadian employers can obtain an LMIA to hire a foreign worker for this occupation.
Many provinces have PNP streams that accept TEER 3 occupations. Alberta, BC, Ontario, and other provinces run occupation-specific draws.
Official Definition
Concrete finishers smooth and finish freshly poured concrete, apply curing or surface treatments and install, maintain and restore various masonry structures such as foundations, floors, ceilings, sidewalks, roads, patios and high-rise buildings. They are employed by construction companies, cement and concrete contractors and manufacturers of precast concrete products, or they may be self-employed. Apprentices are also included in this unit group.
TEER 3 Explained
Occupations typically requiring secondary school and/or occupation-specific training of less than 2 years. These include many service, production, and technical support roles. All are eligible for Express Entry.
