TEER 2 occupations qualify for the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSW) and Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
Canadian employers can obtain an LMIA to hire a foreign worker for this occupation.
Many provinces have PNP streams that accept TEER 2 occupations. Alberta, BC, Ontario, and other provinces run occupation-specific draws.
Official Definition
Boilermakers fabricate, assemble, erect, test, maintain and repair boilers, vessels, tanks, towers, heat exchangers and other heavy-metal structures. They are employed in boiler fabrication, manufacturing, shipbuilding, construction, electric power generation and similar industrial establishments. Apprentices are also included in this unit group.
TEER 2 Explained
Occupations typically requiring a college diploma, apprenticeship of 2+ years, or supervisory experience. These include skilled trades and technical occupations. All are eligible for Express Entry.
