TEER 3 occupations qualify for the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSW) and Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
This occupation does not currently map to IRCC's category-based draw criteria.
Canadian employers can obtain an LMIA to hire a foreign worker for this occupation.
Many provinces have PNP streams that accept TEER 3 occupations. Alberta, BC, Ontario, and other provinces run occupation-specific draws.
Official Definition
Dancers are employed by ballet and dance companies, television and film productions and nightclubs and similar establishments. This unit group also includes dance teachers who are usually employed by dance academies and dance schools.
TEER 3 Explained
Occupations typically requiring secondary school and/or occupation-specific training of less than 2 years. These include many service, production, and technical support roles. All are eligible for Express Entry.
