A 'crew member' is someone employed on a means of transportation to do work related to operating it or serving passengers and crew, whether during the journey or while in port. Stowaways whose fare is waived in exchange for work, or people hired just for maintenance and repairs, do not count as crew members.

(2)(2) For the purposes of these Regulations, adoption , for greater certainty, means an adoption that creates a legal parent-child relationship and severs the pre-existing legal parent-child relationship.
